What is Oil-Grease Residue Testing?

The Oil-Grease Residue Test is a critical analysis conducted to verify whether the oils used during the manufacturing of medical products have been completely removed during the production process. If an appropriate cleaning procedure is not applied after manufacturing, residual oil and grease left on the products may negatively affect the device's performance and safety.

According to Which Standards Are Oil-Grease Residue Tests Performed?

The analyses conducted in our laboratory are performed in accordance with the following international standards:

  • SM 5520 B: Standard methods used in water and wastewater analysis.
