BI Sterility Test (Biological Indicator Sterility Test)

The BI Sterility Test is used to verify the accuracy and effectiveness of sterilization processes. This test is performed to determine whether the biological indicators placed inside the sterilizer during the sterilization process remain sterile after the procedure.
The test is conducted based on the instructions for use of the indicators and is generally carried out in accordance with ISO 11737-2. According to this standard, the same sterilization process is applied using the biological indicators placed inside the sterilizers. Afterward, it is checked whether the indicators have successfully undergone sterilization.
At Oxigen Analytical Laboratory, we provide highly precise services in sterility testing, ensuring results that comply with international standards.
