BI Spore Test (Biological Indicator Spore Test)

The BI Spore Test is an analysis conducted to detect the number of bacterial spores on biological indicators. This test is primarily used to verify the effectiveness of sterilization processes.

In this test, recovered and diluted bacteria are added. The growth of the bacteria is then monitored during the specified incubation period. After incubation is complete, the number of bacteria is calculated and reported by multiplying with the actual dilution factors. This procedure is used to assess the efficiency of the sterilization process.

At Oxigen Analytical Laboratory, we perform this test in accordance with international standards and ensure the reliability of the results.
